Junior division individual website

In January, I came into my new social studies class. Because I came in half way through the year, I was stressed out. All of the other students had had a full year to work on this, and I only had half of a year.
Ms. McDade gave me a list of sample topics and something caught my eye: law. I had learned a little bit about Hammurabi’s code of laws in my other social studies class and the concept of an “eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth” amazed me. To me, it made sense that laws would be that way. Since everyone else already had their topics, I was working alone. Ms.McDade offered to help us after school, but I decided that I could do this using the time I had at home.
At first, I wasn’t doing very well. I had missed the research portion of the project, so I had to research as I went. I kept holding off from working on my website, except for when we worked on our projects in class. Then I started working on it during seminar (basically study hall). I would work on my project for about twenty minutes a day.
Once, most of my information was on my website, I didn’t work on it so often. I had more I needed to work on, but since my brother was also working on a website for the NHD project, he was using the computer almost all the time.
I worked around that and eventually got some time on the computer. I worked as hard as I could and was able to finish everything. I worked on my website and I made it as good as I could.
